Winter wedding guest dress?
I’m looking for a dress to wear to a wedding in Amsterdam this winter (December 23rd). It’s a daytime wedding, but since I don’t live there, I’m not sure that I have a chance to change my clothes prior to the dinner and after-party, so it would need to work for all three occasions. The wedding’s going to be pretty formal, so I want my dress to go no shorter than knee length, but probably not longer, since I’m not a bridesmaid. Velvet or heavy satin is also what I’m shooting for. Does anyone have specific suggestions for me?
For December, trendy Colors for Winter are red, black, white, and dark blue, burgundy, or solid colors. Since its going to be in Winter its best that you wear a dress with a shawl, and the dress be a thick material. Taffeta and satin are best.
